Misty City

Morning, heavy fog.

It is now the weekend, with nothing to do, I want to meet a friend from the internet. Passing by a flower shop, I bought a bouquet of flowers and wrapped it in newspaper. Because of the traffic jam, I had to take the subway. Unexpectedly, when I got off the train, I found that the flowers had been crushed, and to make matters worse, I lost my phone, which had the contact information of my internet friend. So I had to find a nearby internet cafe to contact them again.

When looking for the internet cafe, I found myself lost and ended up in a hotel. There was a girl sitting at the front desk playing on the computer. I approached her and asked if there was an internet cafe nearby, but the girl didn't speak. She just stood up and picked up a lantern, gesturing for me to follow her. So I followed her through several maze-like corridors and hallways. The light became dimmer and dimmer, and the girl walked ahead with the lantern. The stairs led to the basement and were spiral-shaped, becoming steeper and darker. Next to the stairs, there were some small windows on the wall. Through these small windows, with the dim and weak light, I saw many people lying in cages that were almost impossible to turn over in. They were wearing handcuffs and leg irons. Suddenly, I felt scared and turned around to run back along the way I came, and quickly left the hotel.

There were soldiers everywhere on the street, and there was military training in the school. In the distance, there were sounds of gunfire.

There was a stove burning in the room, and a man with a scar on his face sat next to it, silent.

I didn't know where to go, really, in this unfortunate era, in this familiar yet unfamiliar city, I didn't know where to go.
