Creating requires at least two conditions.
First, you need some familiar materials as raw materials. You must be quite familiar with these materials. You have to play with and appreciate these materials in your mind, repeatedly and repeatedly.
Second, you need leisure time, not necessarily leisure time, as long as your mind is idle (even if you really have leisure time, but your mind never stops, it is not enough). Don't think about anything, you must reach a state of emptiness in your heart. "This creative empty state is not something that can be cultivated—it is here, it comes quietly without any invitation" (Krishnamurti). Wang Xiaobo said, "Wisdom always points to the realm of nothingness, and knowledge and beauty are born from nothingness." That's probably what it means.
These two conditions are necessary but not sufficient. It is not that with these two conditions, inspiration will come quietly. It is said that the premise of creation is that these two conditions must be met. "Just like when the window is open, the breeze will naturally come in. You can't invite the breeze into the room, all you can do is open the window" (Krishnamurti, "Getting to Know Yourself Again").
